OWN BOAT TUITION

Many students prefer to take the RYA practical courses on their own boats as they find that they learn more quickly this way. We are therefore only too pleased to provide own boat tuition provided that the vessel is suitable. As a guideline it should be at least 25 feet long and adequately equipped with safety gear and navigational charts. Advice on gear to carry can be found in the RYA publication C8 Boat Safety Handbook. If you have any doubts whether your vessel is suitable please contact us as we are often able to arrange for the loan of safety equipment.

We can also arrange courses to meet your specific requirements. Whether you want a couple of days training to familiarise yourself with a new boat or a days instruction in how to use your chart plotter just give us a call.

The fee for own boat tuition is £175 per day and covers up to two students.
