OUR TRAINING VESSEL

Our training vessel is a Hardy 50, designed by Andrew Wolstenholme, and was purpose built for us in 2004.  Power is provided by a pair of Caterpillar 720 hp engines fitted with Twin Disc Quickshift gearboxes which make her extremely easy to handle.

She is capable of cruising at 25 knots but is equally comfortable at 8 knots. Her semi-displacement hull gives an extremely smooth ride.

All of her cabins have climate control and private toilet/shower facilities. As we only take two students at a time you will have sole use of your cabin.

The wheelhouse has doors to the wide side decks and this, combined with the internal staircase to the flybridge, makes her an exceptionally safe craft to move around. She is MCA coded and has a full range of navigational equipment, including chart plotters, radar and AIS.
